Lunch and dinner are included every single day, and each one is somewhere chosen on purpose.
A tour that includes half board usually means a hotel dining room twice a day. Here it means the food corners of Córdoba on a walk we call Rincones con Encanto, a premium buffet at the Hotel Sherry, almond sweets made by nuns in Coria, a tapas route through the Triana market, a Roman dinner in Mérida on New Year's Eve and dinner in the ducal palace of the House of Alba.
Spanish lunch is long and it is the center of the day. The itinerary is built around that rather than against it.
